Gatlinburg Skylift Park
Gatlinburg Skylift Park is located a short drive from all of our rental cabins in downtown Gatlinburg. It was completely rebuilt after the devastating wildfires that struck the area on November 28th, 2016.
You can catch a ride on the open-air chair lift from the street level in downtown Gatlinburg. Take a scenic and relaxing ride to the top of the mountain while enjoying the scenery. The views at the top are absolutely amazing!
You can view the live webcam from the mountaintop below. See what the weather is doing before you go.
The Gatlinburg SkyBridge is located at the top of the mountain. It is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America. The bridge is approximately 680 feet long and soars 140 above the valley below. Once you reach the midway point of the bridge you will have to walk across a clear glass section. You will feel like you are walking on air. Once you muster up the courage to cross, you can then continue to the other side where you can relax or grab a refreshment before your return. This is one attraction that you must see during your visit to Gatlinburg!
Take a look at the short video below detailing the construction of the Skybridge.
There are plenty of places to relax and take in the beautiful views while visiting Skylift Park. Are you hungry or do you need to cool down? No problem! You can grab a quick bite at the Gatlinburg Skycenter. They have pizza, salads, sandwiches, and cold drinks for you to enjoy.
