Cancellation Policy

Our Cancellation Policy Explained

If you have the need to cancel a reservation for any reason we allow you to cancel within 60 days of your check in date penalty free, with a full refund of your deposit. Travel insurance is not required to obtain a full refund if you are 60 days or more away from your arrival date. After the 60 day deadline cancellation penalties go into effect. The closer to your scheduled arrival date you are, the higher the cancellation penalty will be.

Our cancellation policy is simple. If you cancel within these time frames below you will receive the corresponding refund.

  • 60 Days or More Away – 100% Refund
  • 59 to 30 Days Away – 50% Refund
  • 29 to 0 Days Away – No Refund

Travel Insurance Option

Many people do not plan for that unexpected emergency that will prevent them from traveling, but unexpected events occur far too often. We recommend that you at least consider purchasing some form of travel insurance. A link is provided below where you can shop many different providers of travel insurance. Travel insurance is reasonably priced and can cover the full cost of your vacation if you find the need to cancel your reservation outside of the free cancellation period. Each insurance policy is different, but many offer great plans at a fairly reasonable rate. The insurance policy will help recover some or all of your money in case of an unexpected illness or other emergency situation that would cause you to have to cancel your trip unexpectedly.

If you want the flexibility to cancel for any reason you can add this option with some policies. This is sold as an add on to many policies and will cause the price of your premium to increase. Watch for this option so you have that flexibility to cancel up to 48 hours before check in for any reason whatsoever.

We do not deviate from our cancellation policy under any circumstance. It is difficult to find new people to rent a large property on short notice of less than 60 days. We want to be as clear as possible about this so there is no confusion. If you cannot afford to lose your money we highly suggest the insurance.
